CUTTING SEQUENCE (2017 - 2024)

Process shifted from linear construction into the sequential deconstruction of the grid itself. A series of hand cuts, the symmetrical and asymmetrical forms bringing a shifting visual engagement with the grid. The cyclical reality of nature mirrored, cuts becoming metaphor for the human condition and a union of interior and exterior landscape. A process of reveal by looking through. Filtering the landscape through a second skin-like layer, the repeating motif of the horizon line running through like a cardiac rhythm.
